The13th installment of the popular horror franchise features three horrific tales as woven by young maverick directors Somes (“Tamawo”), Tarog (“Parola”) and Martinez (“Rain, Rain Go Away”). “Tamawo” follows a boy (Cariño) who discovers the lair of evil creatures. “Parola” is about two girls (De los Reyes, Bernardo) stalked by the spirit of a lighthouse. “Rain” focuses on a woman (Domingo) haunted by drowned ghosts.

Regal producer Lily Monteverde says this is the franchise’s grand finale. “We want the series to end with a bang,” producer Roselle Monteverde agrees. Says Tarog: “Horror is all about craft and execution.” Martinez thinks doing “Shake” is a “dream come true.” Somes feels “sentimental and honored” to be part of the classic trilogy.
