Luis Manzano is Anne Curtis’ man of honor

Luis Manzano revealed that he has been invited by Anne Curtis to be her “man of honor” for her wedding.
In an interview at “Magandang Buhay”, the TV host shared that it was part of a long-time agreement between him and the actress.
“Si Anne, nakaka-touch, kasi ‘di ba ikakasal na nga siya. She sent me a letter saying na ‘may promise tayo sa isa’t isa and would you be my man of honor sa kasal (Anne did something so touching. Since she’s about to get married, she sent me a letter reminding me that we have a promise to one another, and asked, ‘Would you be my man of honor at my wedding’)?’” he said.
“So kasama ako sa entourage ng kasal niya… At the same time kapag ikinasal na ako she will be my best woman (So I’m part of their wedding entourage… And when I get married she has to be my best woman),” he related.
Curtis is set to marry her fiancé, lifestyle blogger and restaurateur Erwan Heussaff who proposed to her in December 2016.
The actress fondly calls him “Manzano” as they’ve known each other even before their showbiz days, said the “I Can See Your Voice” host.
“Siya ‘yung type ng best friend na hindi ko kailangang makita siya on a regular basis para ma-maintain ‘yung friendship namin (She’s the type of best friend that I don’t need to see on a regular basis to maintain our friendship),” explained Manzano.
In a 2007 interview with the Philippine Entertainment Portal, Curtis shared that she and Manzano started out dating and eventually became best friends.
While he couldn’t reveal when Curtis and Heussaff would get married, he said of his own plans with girlfriend Jessy Mendiola, “‘Yung sa akin, sana soon (Mine will be soon, hopefully).” Niña V. Guno/JB
