Solenn Heussaff enjoys doing different things: She acts (“Alyas Robin Hood 2”), hosts (“All Star Videoke,” “Taste Buddies”), and sings (her well-received third album, “Solenn,” came out last year). She goes about her diverse activities with neither a chip on her pretty shoulder nor a self-entitled air. She even helps run La Lola Churreria, the restaurant she co-owns which already has 21 branches around the country.

But, which of her diverse interests does she find most fulfilling? “For me, acting is the most fulfilling—and challenging. Creating a character requires a different kind of commitment, because I’m not the characters I portray,” she told Inquirer Entertainment recently.

“When I host, I’m just being myself … kalat (laughs). Even when I’m singing, I don’t take myself too seriously. I don’t like dance music that much; I prefer jazzy tunes. There’s fun in variety.” —RITO ASILO
