LOOK: New Mouseketeers announced after 20 years; include talented Fil-Ams

The Mickey Mouse Club has a new set of members after 20 years.

Alums include pop singers Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake, actor Ryan Gosling, and Broadway actress and Fil-Am Deedee Magno-Hall.

The group has been rebranded as “Club Mickey Mouse” and counts eight talented teens ages 15 to 18 in its roster, reports USA Today.

While “The Mickey Mouse Club” aired on TV as a variety show, this updated version will be featured only on social media.

The new Mouseketeers are rapper Regan Aliyah, 18; dancer Jenna Alvarez, 15; Ky Baldwin, 16; dancer Gabe de Guzman, 16; singer and dancer Leanne Tessa Langston, 17; performer Brianna Mazzola, 17; Rockabilly singer Sean Oliu, 15; and choreographer and dancer Will Simmons, 17.

All-around performer and YouTube star Todrick Hall will mentor the group.

Among the teens, Alvarez, De Guzman, and Langston are Filipino-Americans.

Alvarez, the youngest of the group, is based in San Diego, California. She dances ballet, tap, and hip hop, among others.

De Guzman was born and raised in Southern California, and lives with both his parents and grandparents who hail from Cavite.

His dance talent shone early on such that he performed in the 2015 Superbowl half-time performance with Missy Elliot and Katy Perry when he was 14.

While there’s no doubt he can keep up with professional hip-hop dancers, he also does contemporary dance:

If Langston is familiar to you, it’s probably because you saw her billboard in Cebu.

The billboard, which had a picture of the singer and her social media accounts, amused Filipino netizens. Langston was nonetheless thankful to her uncle who simply wanted to give the Los Angeles-based teen some support.

The singer has uploaded a number of covers and has earned a following on YouTube. Here’s one of her covers “Like I’m Gonna Lose You” by Meghan Trainor, sung with fellow Fil-Am Kenneth San Jose:
