Ryza Cenon is at the top of her game, thanks to her top-rating Kapuso afternoon teleserye, “Ika-6 na Utos”.

Her impressive portrayal of the villain Georgia has earned her praises. However, she may have been acting too effectively that some viewers seem to be forgetting the distinction between the character and the actress. She has recently reminded the viewers that she is simply acting.

In a Twitter post last Saturday, the Kapuso actress shared a healthy reminder to fans who get carried away by her performance in the teleserye.

([Laughs] Okay, I will post this. To those who are too serious in life, please don’t take [my role] too seriously nor take things against me personally. Let’s all just be happy.)

Her post had two photos of herself. The first shows a fierce-looking Cenon, presumably as her villain character Georgia, while the other is a smiling and beaming Cenon which projects her real self.

Her post carried the words, “Hate the character, respect the actress.”

The fight scenes between her character Georgia and that of Emma played by actress Sunshine Dizon have been much-talked about because of their hard-hitting lines.

“Ika-6 Na Utos” shed off her teenybopper image and immediately transformed her into an A-list villain. Besides her hit series, she also recently starred in the hit suspense gothic romance movie “Ang Manananggal sa Unit 23B”. She was lauded for her portrayal of the dark and mysterious yet kind-hearted Jewel who secretly transforms into a manananggal. The movie also attracted interest among viewers because of its intimate scenes.
