Expectant first-time parents Bangs Garcia and Filipino-British husband Lloydi Birchmore recently held a baby shower for their baby’s gender reveal.
In a series of Instagram posts, the couple happily announced that they will be having a baby girl.
“I seemed confused coz we were both expecting to find a tag that says ‘Girl’, we didn’t know that the revelation was going to be through the color of the confettis. Yes, Loves! We are having a Baby Girl. We are naming her #AmeliaBirchmore,” Garcia said in her post.
The couple was actually exempt from the guessing game. Garcia wrote that she and her husband already knew the gender of their baby a week before the shower. She said, “The surprise was meant for our guests whom by the way made some bets. Lol.”
The video below shows the couple pulling a string that released pink confetti, thus revealing their baby’s gender.

Happy with the turnout, Garcia thanked @eventsbymsp for a well-executed party. “Despite the short period of preparation they were able to gather these amazing suppliers and were able to throw us an event way beyond our expectation,” she wrote.

Further, Garcia was able to indulge her sweet tooth at the baby shower.
“No bias, this is seriously my most favourite cake I’ve ever had in my very own occasion! Aside from it’s aesthetically beautiful design, I really enjoyed the ooey gooey caramel and dark chocolate filling within! Thank you soooooo much @sugarcraftmnl,” she wrote.
