Baeby Baste is, without a doubt, one of local showbiz’s cutest babies. He just turned five years old last August 22 and dazzled his fans with charming Instagram photos of the celebration.
Held at the Kidzoona in UPTown Place Mall in Quezon City, Baste was obviously too happy during his party. In the post, he thanked all those who celebrated with him: “i am super duper duper happy po. Thank you EAT BULAGA sa tanan2x… I AM SUUUPPEEEERRR HAPPYYYYYY.”

Baste first rose to fame as an online sensation. His cute looks, chubby frame and blushing cheeks instantly earned the adoration of netizens. His photos and videos were repeatedly shared by netizens. Not long after, his online fame led him to be featured on GMA’s TV program, “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho”.
Nonetheless, his rise to mainstream fame reached greater heights when he joined local showbiz’ longest-running noontime show, “Eat Bulaga”. This Visayan-speaking kid was then made the miniature version of Pambansang Bae Alden Richards, thus earning him the title “Baeby Baste”.
Besides being a natural charmer, five-year old Baste is also known for his talent in singing. And just like the phenomenal breakout star Maine Mendoza, Baste is also known for his dubsmash videos.
Baste’s family was originally from General Santos City. They’ve moved to Metro Manila because of Baste’s showbiz career. Baste also has an equally cute brother, Samsam. JB
