From boy band member Si-Woo in “Dream High 2” to martial artist Ko Dong-man in “Fight for My Way”, Park Seo-joon has proven to be a powerhouse oppa in the Korean entertainment scene.

Although a lot of people now know him as Ko Dong-man, K-drama and K-pop fans have probably seen him at one point without them knowing it, as he has been involved with actors and idols alike since his debut in the industry in 2011. Here’s a quick summary of Park Seo Joon’s career.

Debut in the entertainment industry: “I Remember”

He first showcased his acting skills by playing a man who struggles to save his lover from kidnappers in a music video for BAP’s Bang Yong-guk (featuring now member of Highlight, Yang Yo-seob).

First drama appearance: “Dream High 2”

Albeit a supporting role, Park Seo-joon’s first drama appearance is notable in the Dream High series, a classic and a staple for any K-drama fan. Park Seo-joon plays Si-woo, a member of idol boy band Eden, who runs into trouble with Oz Entertainment.

First lead role in a drama series: “A Witch’s Romance”

In his first lead role in a television series, Seo-joon plays a man who runs a small errand center that does pretty much anything from sending someone to play Santa Claus to providing security for idols. His character is cheerful and happy despite losing his girlfriend in an accident.
