Two high-caliber actresses are teaming up for yet another highly-anticipated movie.

Kapamilya star Angelica Panganiban is thrilled to be working with one of this generation’s most seasoned drama actresses, Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo. The two will be starring in “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes”.

Despite being a respected drama actress herself, Panganiban still said “hindi ako makapaniwala na mangyayari ito sa talambuhay ko” (I can’t believe that this could happen in my life).

In a recent Instagram post, Panganiban proudly announced to her fans the news of their team-up.

Contrary to the usual drama films that they do, the new project will see both actresses venturing into comedy, which they both have also done before.

Santos will give life to the character of a career-driven fashionista who will eventually meet Panganiban’s character—a gentle, soft-spoken socialite who shares her surname.

It may be their first movie together, but the two have previously worked with each other in “Sa Puso Ko Iingatan Ka” in 2001, a Kapamilya soap opera top-billed by Santos and former on-screen partner Piolo Pascual.

A co-production between Star Cinema, Idea First Company and Quantum Films, shooting for “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes” will start soon. JB
