Has TV host and actress Julia Clarete finally married her Irish fiancé Gareth McGeown?
Recent social media posts of the former “Eat Bulaga” host has triggered netizens to speculate that she already exchanged vows with her partner of around six years now.
“Great wedding gift indeed,” Clarete described her newest short film “Skit” in a Facebook update last July 24. A day before that, she shared a picture of what appeared to be her wedding gown, fueling fans’ curiosity about her “hush-hush” nuptials.
News of Clarete’s engagement broke last September, when wedding photographer Francis Perez congratulated the couple “in advance” through an Instagram post. Clarete attended former “Eat Bulaga” co-host Isabelle Daza and Adrien Semblat’s wedding in Italy during that time.
Clarete left the noontime show last year to reside with McGeown in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She was previously married to Steven Uy, with whom she has a young son, Sebastian. Gianna Francesca Catolico/JB
