Jose’s on a holiday, not suspended

/ 01:10 AM July 01, 2017

“Eat Bulaga” comedians Jose Manalo (left) and Wally Bayola

The scuttlebutt is not true. Malou Choa-Fagar, senior vice president and chief operating officer of Tape Inc. (producer of the noontime show “Eat Bulaga”), denied the rumor that the bosses had suspended comedian Jose Manalo because of an altercation with cohost Wally Bayola.

“Jose’s not suspended. He’s on leave,” Fagar told the Inquirer. Asked about the supposed “punching” incident involving Manalo and Bayola, Fagar quipped: “Not true! Grabe the chismis!”
