Rich Asuncion delays wedding plans with Fil-Aussie beau

A “superstitious” Rich Asuncion postponed her wedding plans with her boyfriend, Filipino-Australian rugby player Benjamin Mudie.
In an interview with the Philippine Entertainment Portal, the 28-year-old actress revealed that one of her siblings is tying the knot this year, prompting her to shelve her own wedding this year.
“Kasi yung kapatid ko muna daw, naunahan ako, baka masukob kami (My sibling is getting married first, bad luck might happen if we marry in the same year),” Asuncion said.
“December daw sila, e. Kakaano lang na December talaga na-finalize (They will marry in December, they just finalized it recently),” she expounded.
According to Asuncion, Mudie is not bothered by the postponement of their church wedding to a later date, since their initial goal is to hold a civil wedding.
She said: “Okay lang. Di naman kami nagmamadali. Ang plan lang talaga this year is civil. Dapat sana [sa] Australia sa December. E, ‘yun nga, yung kapatid ko muna. Siguro mamu-move ng konti lang naman (It’s okay. We are not in a hurry. The plan is to have a civil wedding. We wanted to marry in Australia this December, but since my sibling will get married first, we might move ours a bit).”
