Anne Curtis personally condoled with the family of her 19-year-old fan who succumbed to cancer four days ago, much to the family members’ consolation.
Amid her tight taping schedules, the Filipino-Aussie star found the time to visit the wake of Charlotte Alegre, who passed away on Tuesday due to acute myeloid leukemia.
Curtis became aware of her demise after netizens passed around a plea by Charlotte’s brother, Christian, asking the actress to visit his sister’s wake.
After her taping for her noontime show “It’s Showtime,” Curtis immediately visited Charlotte’s wake and condoled with her family members.
“She came! For sure, napakasaya mo (you’re happy), Alot (Charlotte’s nickname),” Christian wrote on Facebook Friday upon sharing images of Curtis’ appearance, which got thousands of likes and shares.
“‘Di tayo binigo ni Anne Curtis [dahil] napakabait niya (Anne Curtis did not fail us because she is so good),” he added.
Meanwhile, Curtis thanked the supporters for reaching out Charlotte’s predicament to her. “You were an instrument to making all of this happen. I’m sure your bunso (youngest sibling) is one happy angel…Your love as a kuya has moved me so deeply,” she tweeted.
