LISTEN: Sia creates wonders in ‘Wonder Woman’ soundtrack

/ 06:12 PM May 26, 2017

Just like the heroine Wonder Woman, Sia’s powerful voice can soar and create a tidal wave of emotions.

The Australian singer-songwriter teamed up with English singer Labrinth for the song “To Be Human”, part of the soundtrack of the highly-anticipated film “Wonder Woman”.

“To Be Human” is another one of Sia’s musical contributions to Hollywood films, following “Sledgehammer” for “Star Trek” (sung by Rihanna) and “Never Give Up” for the 2016 drama film “Lion”.

The DC heroine’s tale is about Diana Prince (played by Gal Gadot), an Amazonian princess living in Themyscira, a faraway island inhabited by women. One day, she rescues military pilot Steve Trevor (Chris Pine), whose plane crashed onto the island. After learning from him about the ongoing war and its atrocities, she decides to leave her island home to help bring an end to the war.

The film will arrive in Philippine cinemas on June 1. Gianna Francesca Catolico/JB
