Solenn Heussaff shares official wedding video, tips on lasting relationship

This time last year, Solenn Heussaff married Argentinian businessman Nico Bolzico in France, and in what the French-Filipina described as the “funnest, craziest” wedding.
Reflecting on their relationship as husband and wife a year later, Solenn revealed on her blog that not much has changed between the happy-go-lucky couple, considering that they were already living in for five years before they were officially wed. “Love has always been the center of our relationship and that won’t ever change,” the actress-model said.
As opposed to feeling tied down, she expressed, “I feel the most free I’ve ever been. I’ve never been this motivated to spread my wings and chase opportunities, to work harder, to meet people who I can learn from, to look better, to feel better… This is what being with Nico has done to me.”
Her tips to a happy marriage include trusting one another, being with someone you’ll always learn from, avoiding getting into a routine, and rediscovering one another. “The key to a happy relationship or marriage is learning to fall in love with each other again and again, in spite of the changes.”
The It Girl also advised having me-time and to have one’s own finances apart from a joint account. Independence and self-love are important: “Don’t forget who you are and always stay true to yourself.”
Solenn and Nico’s wedding in France was their second, the first being in Argentina, in Nico’s hometown. The official video for their church wedding was by no less than top events videographer Jason Magbanua:
Solenn says she has yet to consider changing her last name: “Maybe I’ll give it a chance when he drops #wifezilla,” Solenn jokes.
Nico fondly calls her #wifezilla, such as when they get into fights:
