FEATURED STORIES

Home invasion

No wonder Talented Actress left Youthful Husband in a huff. There were rumors of spousal abuse, but it turned out YH was also a womanizer.

According to an employee, YH would often bring home “girlfriends” when TA was busy at work.

YH did his philandering right in the conjugal home! Too stingy to get a room elsewhere?

Major boo-boo

OYO Boy Sotto: Family first

Beautiful Star made a major blunder. Again. During a provincial sortie, BS was feeling crabby. According to a startled witness, she refused to have pictures taken with fans. Unknown to BS, one of the admirers that she snubbed was the son of the town mayor.

Disgusted, the political scion walked out of the venue. BS once again lost a VIF—very important fan.

Drunk dubbing

Troubled Actor arrived for work at a postproduction facility reeking of alcohol. Coworkers tactfully asked him to go home since he was in no condition to dub his movie.

TA continued to raise a ruckus, so a female staffer volunteered to escort him to the parking lot. And… in that inebriated state, TA still managed to molest the poor employee who was too stunned to react.

Sitting room only

At a recent show biz gathering, Veteran Star was accorded a standing ovation by peers.

Everyone rose to their feet, except for a few stoic ones. Conspicuously remaining seated were Top Exec and other officers from the studio that VS sharply criticized in public earlier, according to a mole who adores the honoree.

Seems TE and company are still sore at VS. When it was TE’s turn to go onstage, VS was nowhere in sight. Was that a walkout? Not really, said the spy. VS was just in a hurry to go home.

ALYSSA Alano: Game over

Belles of the ball

PARIS—Tallulah Willis, youngest daughter of actors Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, stepped out as the teen star of the Debutantes Ball in Paris Saturday, alongside Andie MacDowell’s youngest, Margaret Qualley.

Held each year at the Crillon Hotel on Paris’ Place de la Concorde, the ball is a highlight of Europe’s high-society calendar that updates a custom stretching back to the royal courts of France and England.

Clad in sumptuous designer gowns, Qualley and Willis, both just 17, were among the youngest of the 23 girls making their debut, daughters of a global elite of actors, business leaders and aristocrats. AFP

For those who missed last weekend’s TV gabfests (and why we are moved, if we are moved):

Marian Rivera on her rumored rift with Lovi Poe: “Hindi totoo ’yan. Kapag nagkikita kami, nagbabatian naman kami … Mas maganda sigurong mabuhay nang maraming kaibigan at wala kang iniiwasang tao.” (Malamang.)

Marian, asked if she’s willing to meet Dingdong Dantes’ ex, Antoinette Taus: “Bakit naman hindi? Dumating naman ako sa buhay ni Dong na wala siya, so walang problema sa ’kin.” (Parang meron.)

Jaclyn Jose, asked if the father of Andi Eigenmann’s newborn baby has visited: “No. Hindi siya welcome.” (Feisty!)

Alyssa Alano on her experience in “Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Double Showdown”: “Magkakalaban naman kasi kami dun, saka (P3 million) ang pinag-aawayan. Imposible namang walang nagpaplastikan dun.” (Gotcha.)

Susan Roces, asked if she still feels anger toward ex-President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo: “Never akong nagkaroon ng galit. Hindi ako ganyang uri ng tao. Sa mga pangyayari, oo. Pero sa kapwa tao, hindi ako nagtatanim ng galit … Ayokong tumanda na puro galit sa katawan.” (Pero parang…)

Maja Salvador, asked if she’s on good terms with Matteo Guidicelli and Coco Martin: “OK naman lahat. Let’s move on and be happy na. Kalimutan na natin lahat ’yung nangyari last September … Christmas na. Peace na … Love, love!” (Spare us next time.)

Luis Manzano on what he loves about Jennylyn Mercado: “Kahit gaano tayo katanda na, we always have that inner baby—we want to be taken care of. ’Yung inner baby sa ’kin, sobrang alaga niya.” (Uh.)

Gerald Anderson, asked if he’s courting anyone now: “I have someone in mind. May potential … Lahat ng qualities na hinahanap ko sa isang babae nasa kanya.” (Don’t look at us.)

Sarah Geronimo on love: “Mahirap yung pinipilit ang isang bagay dahil gusto lang natin. ’Yung pagiging selfish natin nauuwi sa gulo eh. So kalimutan natin ’yun. I-consider natin ang feelings ng bawa’t isa, especially ng ating pamilya.” (What was the question?)

Oyo Sotto on what has changed, now that he has his own family: “Dati sarili ko lang iniisip ko, ngayon ’yung responsibilities lalong lumalawak at dumadami.” (Not complaining.)

Joey de Leon, asked which TV network he prefers: “Ako nga binubura ko na ’yung Kapuso, Kapamilya, Kapatid. May bago po ngayon—Kalagare! Mahal ko ang TV, eh. Mahal ko silang lahat.” (The more, the many-er!)

Sharon Cuneta, prodded about her alleged P1-billion talent fee: “Let’s just say, kung ano man yung kikitain ko, hindi ko first time ma-make.”
