WATCH: Sia, Demi Lovato, Avril Lavigne lend voices in ‘Charming’
Demi Lovato, Ashley Tisdale, Sia and Avril Lavigne—these are some of the big names who will lend their voices in the upcoming Canadian-American animated film “Charming.”
Based on the star-studded trailer leaked on Tuesday, the film unfolds the lives of Cinderella (voiced by Tisdale), Snow White (Lavigne) and Sleeping Beauty (Hong Kong pop star G.E.M.)—three princesses vying for the love of Prince Charming (voiced by actor-singer Wilmer Valderrama). The glamorous trio will collaborate on a song titled “Trophy Boy,” a tribute to the flamboyant kingdom heir in the story.
Interestingly, Demi Lovato voices the lead role of Lenore while Sia inflames the character of Oracle. The project serves as a reunion for ex-lovers Lovato and Valderrama, who ceased their six-year relationship last year.
Akin to Disney’s trademark of interlinking films, Belle from “Beauty and the Beast” appears in a scene that’s also included in the trailer.
