Rita Gaviola, dubbed by netizens as “Badjao Girl” after her stolen shots exploded on social media, celebrated her 14th birthday in style.
The former Pinoy Big Brother contestant wrapped up her boho-themed birthday bash held last Saturday at a resort in Novaliches, Quezon City. Gaviola dazzled in a pink floral gown, which she bought from Divisoria.
According to her, a Nevada-based fan funded her party, and she is thankful to everyone who celebrated her memorable day with her, including former PBB housemates Baninay Bautista, Fenech Veloso and Vivoree Esclito.
“Hinding-hindi ko po malilimutan ang kaarawan kong ito, dahil first time ko pong mag celebrate ng birthday at ganito pa (I will never forget this birthday of mine because it’s the first time I celebrated it, in style yet),” Gaviola captioned her Instagram post.

To pay homage to her roots, Gaviola performed a dance number of “Igal Igal” with her cousin and entertained the attendees with her hand-drumming skills.
