In spite of numerous attempts to set a meeting, the two consistently failed to cross paths.
SC even dropped by GP’s workplace, to no avail.
It took a while, but SC finally figured it out.
SC confided to a friend: “Is GP avoiding me?”
Alas, SC knows GP very well. SC is certain that GP is reluctant to meet up because of very personal reasons.
While SC remains ravishing after all these years, GP simply looks ravaged.
SC suspects that GP’s bloated ego (among other body parts) cannot face the harsh reality.
Depression era
Good-looking Personality is purportedly despondent over the dismal fate of latest pet project.
GP had a lot at stake in this venture. Turned out GP not only invested time and money in it. According to a mole, GP gave 100 percent—heart, body and soul—to the doomed enterprise.
Well, GP wanted to remain relevant, but the gambit failed miserably.
Insiders insist that GP should’ve hired a stronger, more popular partner, instead of Charmless Newbie.
But then again, CN was quite persistent and asked backers to pull out all the stops—financially.
Passing fancy
If Scintillating Luminary hasn’t noticed by now, then love must really be blind.
Friends have been warning SL about Faithless Lover, who can be a tad duplicitous.
According to Chatty Colleague (who is close to the couple), FL isn’t that smitten with SL.
SL is just a passing fancy. Worse, FL is merely using SL to hog the limelight.
Now that SL’s 15 minutes of fame are about to end, FL is raring to jump ship.
Ouch!
Hard habit to break
Kooky Entertainer is addicted to the spotlight.
KE seems to be under the false impression that legions of followers want a snapshot or autograph.
Handlers would often instruct the security staff to bar giddy groupies from getting near KE.
KE, however, would eventually relent and grant the fans’ requests. KE apparently enjoys being the center of attention.
KE is only playing hard to get. KE is actually hard to get rid of.
Moolah madness
