Emily Browning confirmed for dual role in Neil Gaiman’s ‘American Gods’

Australian actress Emily Browning, who already confirmed to be playing Laura Moon in Starz’s “American Gods”, has also now been confirmed for a second role in the show, reports Variety.

The news was announced on Sunday at a SXSW panel, with show creators Bryan Fuller and Michael Green revealing that Browning will also play Essie Tregowan.

The pair was also joined by Browning and cast members Ricky Whittle and Ian McShane, who are also set to star in the adaptation of the acclaimed fantasy novel by Neil Gaiman.

“American Gods” will debut on Starz on April 30. JB
