Top 10 K-pop fandoms in the Philippines
There’s no doubt that the Hallyu wave is taking the Philippines by storm. Left and right you can find K-pop related merchandise (*ehem* EXO and BTS shirts *ehem*) and hearing their songs in public (“Fantastic Baby”, anyone?) is becoming more and more common.
Their success is rooted from the hard work they’ve put into their craft—from the intensive Korean training programs to the hectic schedules of on-demand idols—and of course, we’ve got to give due thanks to the fans!
Speaking of fans, the fandom culture in K-pop groups is highly regarded. These fangirls/boys take their job (fangirling/boying) seriously. Do not mess with them!
