Aiko Melendez denies a Jean Garcia-Jomari Yllana romance

Aiko Melendez has never looked better and in good shape, but she was quick to dismiss a possible romantic reconciliation between her and former husband Jomari Yllana. Could it be because of an alleged brewing romance between Yllana and veteran actress Jean Garcia?
The 41-year-old actress was very proud to speak of developments in her weight loss journey, as shown in her online posts.
“Yes, super proud pero hindi pa din ganun ka-proud kasi gusto ko talaga magka-abs. So this year, ‘yun talaga ang goal ko, ang magka-abs ako,” Melendez said.
(“Yes, super proud but not yet that proud because I really want to have abs. So this year, that’s really my goal, to develop abs.”)

Because of her continuously improving physique, the press could not help but ask: could there be a possible rekindling of romance between her and former husband Jomari Yllana?
“‘Di ko alam. Siguro we’re better as friends talaga,” she clarified.
(“I don’t know. Maybe we’re just really better off as friends.”)
Because of this, her opinion was asked about the rumored romance between her ex-hubby and Jean Garcia. But a confident Melendez directly answered for the two.
“Nako, si Ate Jean and Jomari are really very good friends. Si ate Jean, I love her, I adore her. But there’s nothing romantic going on with them. But if they decide to plunge into something serious, why not ? I’ll be happy kasi matinong babae si ate Jean, pero talaga, ako na nagsasabi sa inyo na wala,” she said.
(“Oh my, Jean and Jomari are really very good friends. I love Jean, I adore her. But there’s nothing romantic going on with them. But if they decide to plunge into something serious, why not? I’ll be happy because Jean is a decent woman, but really, I’m telling you, there’s nothing between them.”)
She further adds that she does not hold any right to speak about anyone’s love life, let alone her former husband. But she confidently denied the issue between Yllana and Garcia, even adding that she actually knows who Yllana’s girlfriend is at the moment.
“Hindi dapat bigyan ng kulay ang friendship nila at ayaw ko sa akin pa manggaling, and besides, alam ko kung sino girlfriend ni Jom,” she ended.
(“Their friendship should not be given any color, and I don’t want to be the one divulging things, and besides, I know who’s the girlfriend of Jom.”)
