Robin Padilla ‘fully supportive’ of daughter Kylie’s pregnancy

Robin Padilla has expressed full support for her daughter Kylie Padilla after knowing firshand from her that she’s pregnant and is engaged to actor Aljur Abrenica.
The actress said she made the revelations to her father casually over dinner, after he asked her about her reported engagement and pregnancy.
“Si Papa, nakakatawa yun, kasi nag-dinner kami. Tapos, yun, nagtatanong na siya kung gusto ko na bang mag-asawa, kasi may nagsabi na yata sa kaniya na engaged na kami, eh (Papa is amusing, we had a dinner together, and then she asked if I wanted to get married. Someone must have told him about my being engaged),” she said, according to a report by the news site of Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP).
“Tapos, sabi ko (Then I said), ‘Uhm, I’m ready myself, Pa.’ So, nagkuwento na siya about that, about getting married (So, he talked about things pertaining to getting married),” she added.
In the middle of Robin’s discourse, she interrupted him to personally confirm the report about her pregnancy. “Biglang sabi ko, ‘Pa, may sasabihin pa ako sa ‘yo (I abruptly said, ‘Pa, I’ll tell you something),'” she said, adding that his dad burst out laughing and asked her, “Ano yun, anak? Buntis ka, ‘no? (What’s that, daughter? You’re pregnant, right)?”
She casually answered him, “Ang galing mo dun (You’re spot on).”
After the big reveal, she then showed the ultrasound scans, which showed the baby with clearly formed nose.
