Chef Anton takes a bite of the Big Apple

By

DAYRIT. Golden opportunities.

Chef Anton Dayrit has joined the ABC Kitchen team as a chef de partie. ABC Kitchen is among the most popular restaurants in New York.

Among chef Anton’s well-loved dishes is his bagoong concoction, which his colleagues in New York find superb. He was also one of 20 chefs tapped by Richard Gere to prepare dishes for his fund-raising event for the Tibetan community.

Dayrit studied at the French Culinary Institute in 2008, and has had internships at some of the finest restaurants (Jean Georges, Buddakan) in New York.

Sojourn

Prior to his US sojourn, chef Anton established “Food by Special Order,” which specialized in Southeast Asian and Continental cuisine. He was formerly an instructor at the pioneering Le Cordon Bleu Manille, where he earned a certificate in Basic French Cuisine in 2002.
