Celebrities join World Bazaar Festival

Fans can now get a more personal hold of their favorite celebrities by purchasing their pre-loved stuff at their respective booths at the World Bazaar Festival at the World Trade Center.

Among the celebrities spotted with booths at the event were Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo, Bela Padilla, Phoemela Barranda, Dimples Romana, Miles Ocampo, Sharlene San Pedro and Kim Chiu.

Items are sold at only fractions of their original costs. Some celebrities sell their stuff as a form of productive disposal while others link proceeds to charity.

While some sell personal stuff, others engage in p business like singer Nyoy Volante and actress Gladys Reyes.

The acoustic singer proudly talked about his business of retailing beauty products from Japan. He shares this is his and his wife’s first time to join a bazaar evenT, everything’s going well, not to mention him being an instant attraction to customers and spectators alike.

“Actually, most of it are beauty products from Japan. Our ninong sa kasal is based in Japan tapos meron siyang ganito, may business siya and he’s very very gracious to help us out. For this bazaar, it was just a short notice thing for us, we were supposed to do it last year pero naubusan kami ng time and we weren’t that prepared at that time”, he said.

The former  “Your Face Sounds Familiar” contestant personally mans the booth with his wife Mikkie Bradshaw.

Actress and beauty advocate Gladys Reyes, meanwhile, has been joining bazaars for  sometime to further introduce her personal skin care line, “Gladys Reyes Skin Care”.

The World Bazaar festival is held at the World Trade Center from Dec. 3 to 22. The event is for the benefit if the ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation.
