Two of Hollywood’s “A-Listers” in the fashion runway quickly morphed into “Beliebers.”
When Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid were asked to “dramatically” recite Justin Bieber’s 2009 breakthrough song “Baby” for W magazine’s “lyrical improv series,” they nailed it in unimaginable yet contrasting ways.
The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star and supermodel duets with the lyrics of “Baby” while W editor Lynn Hirschberg was heard giggling at them.
“You guys, this is scary!” Hadid, 21, blurts out before she performs the song, karaoke-style. Jenner, 20, simply recites the lyrics with minimal emotion.
Recently the hippie best friends acted as humanoids in the magazine’s 10th-anniversary art issue called “Placebo Pets.” As part of the magazine’s art campaign, Jenner also paid homage to the world’s most renowned performance art pieces by Maria Abramović, Chris Burden, Yoko Ono and Yves Klein.
