Beleaguered mogul begs kin to take over the biz
REMEMBER Beleaguered Mogul who recently had a scary brush with mortality?
More than recovering from the secret ailment, BM’s main priority is convincing Reluctant Kin to take over the clan’s lucrative enterprise. After all, BM can’t entrust the whole kit and caboodle to Shifty Partner.
Unfortunately, the thriving venture isn’t RK’s cup of tea. RK would rather get involved in a “get-rich-quick” scheme than remain in BM’s shadow forever.
Perhaps BM should give RK a certain measure of freedom.
If the preferred venture goes south, BM can always welcome RK back into the fold. If all else fails, BM can try guilt-tripping RK, instead.
Ahem.
Sweat hog
The trainers in a posh gym are laughing behind Controversial Personality’s back. CP has been huffing and puffing, sweating it out, every day.
Observers surmise it’s because of the rumor that CP has landed on the narcolist.
Perhaps CP wants to present a different image in public. Far from being a party animal, CP is a health buff. Chos!
The pros are not convinced, however. They suspect “working out” is a last-ditch effort, to flush out noxious toxins out of CP’s body.
Starting young
Loyal Supporter got turned off with Scandalous Teener.
Only a few weeks ago, LS would take a bullet for ST. LS would fight all of ST’s battles—even if most of them were losing propositions.
These days, LS is singing a different tune. Turned out ST betrayed LS. ST had the temerity to badmouth LS.
Seems ST is starting early—in the family business of duplicity.
Acting dumb
When caught in a bind, play dumb. Glamorous Beauty abhors talking about Handsome Beau with reporters.
Insistent Writer made the mistake of asking about GB’s love life, though.
GB pretended not to understand the query and mumbled incoherently. IW was stunned. It’s not that GB is a lousy liar.
Blame non-existent acting skills.
Inadvertent comedian

Who knew Hunky Heartthrob had the makings of a comedian?
HH was invited to guest at a forum spearheaded by students. HH, however, had the gall to speak English—mangling it in the process.
Worse, HH mixed up the letter p with f, leaving the coeds in stitches. Thing was, HH seemed oblivious. Now, that’s the spirit!
But fersistence didn’t fay opp por HH.
