Kris says celebrity chef Bourdain her ‘ultimate celebrity crush’

Kris Aquino admitted that Anthony Bourdain was her “ultimate celebrity crush.”

In a lengthy “fangirl” Instagram post, the TV host-actress gushed over her “love” for the American chef and TV personality.

“On Kris TV- I’d mention my love for Anthony Bourdain. Yes, I’m a fan & he’s my ultimate celebrity crush! He’s my inspiration when it comes to hosting a travel/food/cultural exploration show because if you’ve ever taken a time to read the credits of ‘Parts Unknown’ he’s the show’s producer and writer!” Aquino said on her post.

Also, she revealed that she even daydreamed of having a posh dinner with Bourdain, and was “jealous” with a fan, Aurora, who met with Bourdain and even cooked for him.

“And truth is – it’s one of the few times I wished to switch places with someone- in this case, Aurora, who cooked Kare-Kare for Anthony. Sana ako[ng] [nalang ang] nagluto for him. I met Aurora care of LBC and like any fan, I asked her what Anthony was like in person and I hugged her several times because feeling ko that’s the closest I’d get to hugging Anthony…” she revealed.

Aquino was grateful that Bourdain visited the Philippines and appreciated the cuisine the country has to offer.
