Sid Lucero, the lead actor of Lav Diaz’s “Norte, Hangganan ng Kasaysayan,” on the acclaimed director’s latest triumph, the Golden Lion award, at the recent Venice Film Festival for “Ang Babaeng Humayo”: “Astig! I’m not surprised. Lav has been a favorite in Venice. He has been there since 2007. Mas maingay pa ang pangalan niya sa Europe kaysa dito sa Pilipinas.
