WATCH: A shade of romance in ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ trailer

A sexy and steamy teaser trailer of E.L. James’ “Fifty Shades Darker,” the second novel in the erotic “Fifty Shades” trilogy, tickled and stimulated fans on Monday.

The film’s second teaser debuted with fireworks and Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) wearing a black dress and high heels. Then, Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) gifted her with a glistening silver mask for their masquerade event. Then, Grey whispers “Intrigued?” to his wife’s ear while giving her a lusty stare behind her back.

“Tomorrow, slip into something a shade darker,” the 19-second clip’s caption read, as the film’s production team is tearing fans’ hearts with a searing full trailer which will be released Tuesday, Sept. 13.

The first teaser trailer, which was released last April, displayed a gorgeous Grey trying on a black mask.

The movie’s trailer was chaperoned with a lavish and indulging teaser poster for its release on Valentine’s Day next year.  Gianna Francesca Catolico
