A1, the British-Norwegian trio that became popular in the country during the pop boy band craze of the late 1990s and early 2000s, will be returning to the Philippines for a two-night concert, on Oct. 23 at Kia Theatre in Quezon City, and on Oct. 25 at IEC Pavilion in Cebu City.

The show is presented by Concert Republic (call 891-9999). Originally a quartet composed of Ben Adams, Paul Marazzi, Christian Ingebrigtsen and Mark Read, A1 now plays and tours as a trio, after Marazzi left in 2002.

The band, which is behind the hits “Like a Rose,” “Same Old Brand New You” and “Caught in the Middle,” previously performed four years ago in the country, where they also did charity work and a benefit show for underprivileged children.  Allan Policarpio
