WATCH: Lea Salonga, Risa Hontiveros, Monique Wilson performing ‘Do Re Mi’
Following the proclamation of Risa Hontiveros as one of the winning senatorial candidates in the May 2016 national elections, an old photo and a video of her performing with theater actors surfaced recently on social media.
The first one was a promotional photo for the play “Sound of Music” where Hontiveros played one of the Von Trapp children.
Her co-stars include now world-renowned theater actresses Lea Salonga, Monique Wilson, Menchu Lauchengco and singer Raymond Lauchengco. Also in the photo were Angela Adams and Javier Arriaga.

The video, on the other hand, shows the group guesting in the popular noontime show “Student Canteen” and performing the song “Do Re Mi” from the popular stage play.
While Salonga, Wilson and the Lauchengco siblings pursued careers in entertainment, Hontiveros became an activist and later a party-list representative in Congress. KS/RAM
