Zion and Zia together
ZION AND ZIA. Beatifically perfect looks and exceptionally precocious appeal.
Two years ago, Sarah Lahbati and Richard Gutierrez’s love child, cute-as-a-button Zion, instantly became the favorite celebrity offspring of many show biz fans. His perfectly beatific or beatifically perfect looks and appeal make it easy to predict that Zion could become this generation’s most popular child sensation, like Niño Muhlach and Aiza Seguerra precociously were during their times to shine!
This year, however, Zion has just been joined on point of exceptionally precocious appeal by Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera’s newly born daughter and love of their lives, Baby Letizia—and she has turned out to be an instant charmer and sensation in her own right!
That’s no surprise, because Marian and Dingdong’s own exceptional good looks were expected to produce a Baby of the Year, too!
—So, what’s all of this leading up to? Baby Letizia is only a few months young, but antsy prognosticators are already putting “Zion and Zia” together—and coming up with a potential show biz gold mine!
Of course, that bouncing baby bonanza and “dream” tandem is still years away—but, let’s be among the first to articulate that beautiful prediction.
It could very well be that the beautiful babies’ respective sets of parents have no plans or intentions for their little angels to “go show biz.” But, please note that Richard started out as a child star, Dingdong was a commercial model as a tiny tot, and both Marian and Sarah began their performing careers in their early teens.
Based on this “back evidence,” therefore, they wouldn’t be intrinsically averse to their own kids’ joining the biz at a similarly precocious age.

Other stars’ kids have also launched their performing careers as children—Nora Aunor’s Lotlot, Matet and Ian; Niño’s Muhlach’s Alonzo; Amalia Fuentes’ Liezl; Dolphy’s Vandolph and other progeny; Kris Aquino’s Bimby; Eddie Mesa and Rosemarie Gil’s children; Linda Estrella’s Tessie Agana; Bong Revilla’s Jolo; Vic Sotto’s Oyo Boy; Butch Bautista’s Herbert; Bentot’s Dayunyor; Pilita Corrales’ Jackielou Blanco; Rosemarie Sonora’s Sheryl Cruz; Joey de Leon’s Keempee; Pinky Marquez’s Karel; Francis and Pia Magalona’s entire brood—etc.!
What about the even newer and younger bambini? “Show biz babies” are being born all the time in this particularly fecund period in the local entertainment scene. The latest announcements of “royal” births soon to come are paced this month by Iya Villania and Drew Arellano’s exultant news that Iya is into her fifth month of pregnancy—and Toni Gonzaga and hubby Paul Soriano are also excitedly “infanticipating!”
