Tom Jones cancels concert in Manila

Music icon Tom Jones cancelled his scheduled concert at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum tonight, April 2, his management said in a statement.

“Due to serious illness in his immediate family, Tom Jones has regretfully had to cancel his performance in Manila this evening. He extends his deepest apologies to both the organisers and the fans, [whom] he is most sad to disappoint. There are no further details at this time,” his management said.
The management said refund will be available for those who purchased tickets at Ticketnet Outlet and Box Office starting April 5 at the Ticketnet Office located at the Yellow Gate of Araneta Coliseum.
Refund will be automatically reverted back to credit card holders for those who bought tickets online at www.ticketnet.com.ph.
Jones arrived in Manila on Friday. Six years ago, his concert was also postponed due to laryngitis. YG/IDL
