THOSE people who insist that the popularity of Alden Richards is waning, better think again. The “Pambansang Bae” continues to soar. He has been tapped by Unilab to be the new endorser of Neozep.  But there remains no cure for the “AlDub” (Alden/Yaya Dub or Maine Mendoza) fever, which is still highly contagious.

Here’s my one-on-one with Alden:

All love teams break up eventually. When AlDub ends, how will you reinvent yourself?

FEATURED STORIES

I will focus more on my craft as an actor, but of course I don’t want AlDub to end yet.

What has fame taught you?

To take advantage of the moment and use it for the common good.

What’s something you can’t live without?

My rosary, Bible and a daily word from God.

What don’t people know about Alden Richards?

Nothing much. What you see is what you get.

If you could be a woman for a month, who would you want to be?

Mother Teresa.

What keeps you grounded?

Prayers and the support I’m getting from my loved ones and followers.

Erich in full bloom

Everything’s coming up roses for Erich Gonzales. Her career and lovelife are in full bloom—plus, a new endorsement to boot!

She’s the face of Choobi Choobi, the popular Cebu restaurant that has opened a branch on Panay Ave., QC. It specializes in fresh, juicy seafood and Pinoy comfort food. Their dishes and Erich’s beauty are equally appetizing.

Here’s  my tête-à-tête with Erich:

In what ways have you turned  your boyfriend, Daniel  Matsunaga, into a Pinoy,  and in what ways has he turned you into a Brazilian?

It all comes down to food! As a Brazilian he has introduced me to barbecues and steaks, and as a Pinoy, I have turned him into a seafood connoisseur.

What’s the craziest thing that you and Daniel have done?

Danced in public with a lot of people around while we were in Paris.

What’s the sweetest thing that he has done for you?

I feel very blessed that Daniel is a sweet person by nature. He is constantly doing sweet things without realizing it. If I were to choose out of the many sweet things he’s done, it would be when he flew to Davao with me to meet my family.

How do you  handle misunderstandings?

Communication is the key. We always try to understand where each is coming from before we jump to conclusions or say anything we might regret. We talk it out and compromise.

Any culture clash between you and Daniel?

There is no such thing as a culture clash in our relationship. Whatever differences we have in the culture we were born into is all bound by our faith. It’s all about being receptive and honest.

What’s your dream marriage proposal and wedding?

My dream wedding proposal doesn’t have to be fancy, as long as it is well-thought-out and genuine! I have always dreamed of a destination wedding in Europe.

I want something small and simple, but in a beautiful place surrounded by those closest to our hearts.

If your life story would be made into a movie, what would the title be?
