Fans of “Jadine,” the love team of James Reid and Nadine Lustre, have filed an online petition seeking to revive the suspended Twitter fan accounts of the popular tandem.

The petition filed at change.org, which appealed for the reversal of the “permanent suspension of some major Jadine fan accounts,” said the love team “is one of the biggest fandoms in the Philippines.”

The groups received a notice of suspension on Feb. 27, said the petition, adding there was no known cause for the sudden termination of their accounts.

“Our fandom usually tweet to trend and support our idols’ shows and encounters,” the petition said.

“[W]e are sure that none of the suspended accounts had violated any Twitter rule,” it added.

The group that filed the petition said it suspected that a large number of users may have reported their accounts as spam.

“Just recently our fandom had garnered around 4 million tweets (#OTWOLTheLastFlight) for the finale of our idols’ show ‘On the Wings of Love,” which probably caused the misconception regarding the spam tweets,” the group said in the petition.

It added that it had been supporting Reid in the 2016 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, where the actor was nominated for Favorite Pinoy Personality.

“In order to win this, we need to tweet #VoteJamesFPP #KCA as many as we can,” it said.

The other nominees in the category are Enrique Gil, Kathryn Bernardo and Maine Mendoza.

The 2016 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards will be held on March 12 in Inglewood, California.
