Not just a boxer
Manny Pacquiao isn’t just a boxer—he’s a man with values and vision. Some of his insights in life:
The most important thing for a leader is his relationship with God.
Boxing is a sport. Fighters are allowed to hit each other, but I don’t treat my sparring partner as my enemy. It’s our job to entertain people.
Human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.
Obey God’s law first before considering the laws of man.
Don’t make training easy. Make it harder to get better.
For me, boxing isn’t about hurting each other. It’s meant to entertain and make people happy.
Even in my prime, I need God in my life because, without God, I’m nothing.
The name of the Lord should be glorified. I want to let people know that God can transform people like me from nothing into something.
