MAURICIO. Unique selling point.

MAURICIO. Unique selling point.

Remember your loved ones on  Valentine’s Day not just with flowers, but also with delicious fruits crafted like a flower arrangement by Fruits in Bloom—a bright idea conceptualized by Pat Kierulf Mauricio.  Some fruits are coated with white milk and chocolate crust.

Pat works  in the finance department of Sacred Heart Academy-Pasig (call 641-2264), run by her dad, Joey Kierulf. The school has branches in Recoletos and Novaliches.

How did the idea of Fruits in Bloom come about? While in Bangkok with her husband, Pat thought of putting together cut-outs of fruits instead of flowers as presents for any occasion to friends and relatives.

In 2011, she decided to team up with friends,  Cat Tan (who handles accounting) and Leah Dy (marketing).

“Edible” blooms are the shop’s unique selling point.  They also offer “edible” photographs and special messages. The arrangements don’t just entertain, they also look lovely!
