Cristine’s wedding– a very private affair

Cristine Reyes tied the knot with her non-show biz fiancé—mixed martial artist Ali Khatibi—in an intimate ceremony attended by family and close friends on Jan. 27 at the Balesin Island Club in Quezon province.

In her Instagram account, Cristine’s sister, Ara Mina, said: “I’m happy for you (Cristine) because I know that having your own family is one of your heart’s desires. This is one great gift—and a blessing from God.”

Also on Instagram, the event’s official photographer, Nice Print, said the event was “inspiring.”  “There was not much preparation: No fancy setup, no make-up artist, no designer gowns, no live music…but it was…perfect.”

In a previous interview, Cristine related that she’s also planning to have a bigger wedding, hopefully, later this year. Allan Policarpio
