Christmas with the stars
VELASQUEZ. Busier this season.
We asked some stars how they celebrate the Yuletide season with their loved ones. Their answers:
Regine Velasquez-Alcasid
I will prepare noche buena for my family. Preparing for the New Year will be busier for us, because Michelle (van Eimeren) and her kids will be with us!
Jason Gainza
My family sometimes celebrates Christmas by traveling. During noche buena, we ask the kids to hang their socks and make their Christmas wish—then, we give them their gifts.

We have dinner with our relatives. We exchange gifts, my mom cooks, and everyone helps out.

We either stay home or arrange a holiday getaway. We sometimes attend Simbang Gabi and go caroling.

We spend Christmas and New Year at home. My family is fond of games. Last year, I prepared P20, P50 and P100 bills for “paagaw.”

I usually go to my older brother’s house every Dec. 24th for the noche buena. The following day, we go to my uncle’s home. We’ll go to Vietnam this year.

I usually spend Christmas with my family in Cebu. We go to Mass and have noche buena together.
