Voices of three loving fathers will appeal to viewers’ sense of urgency Sunday night on GMA 7’s Sunday Night Box Office (SNBO) via the documentary, “Dingdong Dantes Presents 2°: Panahon Na,” with Jiggy Manicad.

Hosted by Dantes and Manicad, the documentary focuses on the manifestations and lasting effects of climate change, and aims to answer these fathers’ questions about the causes of Supertyphoon “Yolanda” (international name: Haiyan), the most devastating natural calamity that struck the Philippines this decade. (The third father is Yolanda survivor Jemmar Caindoy, whose child died in the calamity.)

Said Manicad: “We hope to localize and simplify the issues about climate change, eliminate the jargon, so we can involve everybody in the fight to protect our planet.”

Said Marnie Manicad, producer and director of the docu: “We want to inform the public that climate change is real. We may take its effects for granted, but climate change is here—deadly and disastrous.”

Docu-drama ‘Jesus Code’: Son of God in the spotlight

Believed to be born on Christmas Day over 2,000 years ago, Jesus of Nazareth is now the center of a fascinating study that attempts to uncover his fate after his crucifixion and death.

Using state-of-the-art technology and physical evidence of his existence—the Shroud of Turin, relics venerated as part of the True Cross, the Gospel of Judas, relics said to be of John the Baptist and the Gospel of Mary—experts piece together the life of the Son of God in “The Jesus Code,” the History channel series debuting on Dec. 21 at 9 p.m.
