EXO PLANET #2 finally visiting Manila this January 23
The hottest Korean boy group EXO, is set for their very first solo concert in the Philippines. Having been one of the most requested idols to visit the country, EXO is finally coming for a one night only solo concert that would make EXO-Ls (fans of EXO) go wild!
EXO, which comprises of members Kai, Suho, Baekhyun, Chanyeol, D.O, Sehun, Xiumin, Lay, and Chen, will showcase their out-of-this world vocals, dancing skills, and charms. Get ready to witness a one of a kind show as we present EXO PLANET: THE EXO’ LUXION LIVE IN MANILA on January 23, 2016 at the SM MALL OF ASIA ARENA.
EXO is embarking on their 2nd world tour this year. They kicked off their tour last March with 4 shows at the Olympic Park Stadium in Seoul. During EXO’s first world tour in Seoul, EXO FROM. EXOPLANET #1 – THE LOST PLANET, tickets were sold out within 1.47 seconds showing the high popularity of the group. With this experience, the ticketing site YES24 prepared more servers to cater to the massive number of fans this time around, but they were faced with a record-breaking number of 1.2 million Korean fans visiting the site all at the same time.
This coming January, Filipino fans will experience EXO performing their hit songs live including “MAMA,” “Wolf,” “Growl,” “Overdose,” and “Call Me Baby.” Fans will get to listen to both Korean and Chinese versions of their songs. EXO will surely bring the house down for their 3-hours long concert with their massive production that will leave everyone who watch breathless.
Now coming to Manila, EXO is ready to show an intergalactic performance that Filipino fans will surely not want to miss.
EXO is a Chinese-South Korean boy band based in Seoul, formed by S.M. Entertainment in 2011. Last 2013, EXO released their first best-selling album, XOXO, that contained the breakthrough hit song, “Growl.” This album shot EXO to stardom having them win the Disk Daesang Award (highest award) at the 28th Golden Disk Awards and receiving the Album of the Year Award at the 15th Mnet Asian Music Awards. XOXO sold over one million copies, putting EXO as the fastest-selling Korean artist in the last twelve years. Their third EP Overdose (2014) made EXO the highest-charting Korean male act on Billboard 200 at No. 129 and it peaked at No. 2 on Billboard’s World Albums Chart.
