Fil-Aussie Cyrus Villanueva wins X-Factor Australia
FILIPINO-AUSTRALIAN Cyrus Villanueva was crowned as champion of X-Factor Australia during the grand finals of the reality singing show on Tuesday.
The 19-year-old Villanueva bested other finalists, namely second placer Louise Adams and third placer Jess & Matt.

Villanueva reprised his audition song, The Weeknd’s “Earned It,” and performed his coronation song “Stone” and a rendition of Labrinth’s “Jealous.”
Villanueva won a recording deal with Sony Music Australia as part of the grand prize.
In 2014, Filipino Marlisa Punzalan was declared X Factor Australia champion. YG
