‘Godfather of Disco’ in Manila

GIORGIO Moroder, the veteran Italian deejay and record producer dubbed the “Godfather of Disco,” will hold a one-night show at The Palace’s Valkyrie Nightclub in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig on Thursday.
A pioneer of electronic and synthpop music who produced a slew of hits for disco queen Donna Summer (including “Love to Love You, Baby” and “I Feel Love”), Moroder is expected to play some of his well-loved works (such as “Together in Electric Dreams”) with a modern twist.
