AUNOR. Receives Peace Prize on Nov. 25.

The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB), chaired by lawyer Toto Villareal, will hold its third Family and Child Summit from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at St. Mary’s College in Quezon City.

The third MTRCB summit focuses on the youth and viewing issues relevant to them, in terms of audience sensitivity and age-appropriate content. Education Secretary Armin Luistro will participate, along with guest panelists and industry and audience stakeholders.

The “McJim Dreams Get Real” talent tilt recently staged its finals at Music Museum, and 19-year-old Apple Delleva, a student at the University of Perpetual Help, was hailed as grand champion. Other talented finalists included Erickson Malabanan, Micah Llona, Tricia May Casauay, Zsarina Concepcion and Carmela Ravanilla.

‘The Horse and His Boy’

Gusi Peace Prize for Nora

Nora Aunor’s latest honor is the 2015 Gusi Peace Prize which will be awarded to her on Nov. 25 at the PICC. Other country winners include doctors Gunther Bonn for Austria, Syunji Sano for Japan, Susan Briggs for the United States, and former president Antonio Eanes for Portugal.
