ACTOR JM De Guzman will no longer be the leading man of Jennylyn Mercado in their Metro Manila Film Festival entry (MMFF) “Walang Forever.”

In a report by entertainment site LionhearTV, lawyer Joji Alonzo of Quantum Films Production confirmed that there would be a new lead actor for the romantic comedy directed by Dan Villegas and written by Antoinette Jadaone.

“We’re having a problem with JM’s schedule that’s why we have decided to replace him for another actor,” Alonzo said when asked why De Guzman will be replaced.

Alonzo did not mention any names for De Guzman’s replacement, amid reports that Jericho Rosales would be Mercado’s new on-screen partner.

De Guzman and Mercado previously starred in successful films directed and written by Villegas and Jadaone, namely “That Thing Called Tadhana” and “English Only Please.” YG
