45% of INQUIRER.net readers want to delay #AlDub meeting ‘as long as it takes’

Screen Shot 2015-08-22 at 10.45.07 AMAmong fans of the viral love team “AlDub,” majority want a long delay in the meeting of actor Alden Richards and dubsmash sensation Maine Mendoza, nicknamed “Yaya Dub” in Eat Bulaga’s hit “kalyeserye.”

Of the 14,426 netizens who voted in the INQUIRER.net poll as of 10:40 a.m., 45.2 percent or 6,520 said they were willing to wait “as long as it takes.”

However, 44.16 percent or 6,370 respondents said they do not care since they watch rival noontime program “It’s Showtime.”

Responding to the question “How much longer will TV audiences be willing to wait for Alden and Yaya Dub to finally meet?,” 8.19 percent or 1,181INQUIRER.net readers said they want it to happen soon.

Only 1.5 percent or 216 individuals said they are willing to wait for one more week while less than one percent or 139 respondents said two weeks are enough. KS
