‘Soap Opera ng Buhay Ko’

University of the Philippines Medical Alumni Fund, Inc. presents “Ang Soap Opera ng Buhay Ko (The Concert: Voices of Healing)” at the Marriott Grand Ballroom on Aug. 26 to raise funds for the creation of the new UP College of Medicine Academic Center.
The dinner concert will feature the 50-piece ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra (under the baton of Gerard Salonga), Lea Salonga, Ryan Cayabyab, Jed Madela, Vice Ganda, Mark Bautista, Cris Villonco, Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo, Bituin Escalante, Pinky Marquez, Franco Laurel, The Tux, Caisa Borromeo, Baihana, and Catherine Fisher. A 70-strong chorus composed of The Mass Appeal, Ateneo Chamber Singers and UP Medicine Choir will also perform onstage.

‘Bridges of Madison County’
West End musical stars Joanna Ampil and MiG Ayesa lead the cast of the first international production of the Tony Award-winning musical “The Bridges of Madison County,” produced by Atlantis Theatrical Entertainment Group, slated for November 2015.
It tells the story of a bored Iowa housewife and her life-changing, four-day, whirlwind romance with a traveling photographer. This new production features soulful music by Tony Award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown.
