Seeker of truth

What do we need to know in life? We know someone who has two undergraduate, two masteral and two doctorate degrees—and he intends to have more! On the other hand, some people are into memorizing basketball scores, names of athletes or teams, etc. Some join contests on television shows to demonstrate how “knowledgeable” they are.

But, who is the most knowledgeable of all?  In Vedic literature, it’s stated that someone who knows the Supreme Being knows everything—because his connection with the Original Source enlightens him about life and the interconnectedness of everything.

A sage who sees things as they are knows what’s truly valuable. He need not speak many languages. He can be you or me. He is a seeker of truth who acknowledges the Supreme Being as our dearest friend. His love and service connect him to the Supreme—he shares what he knows and gives back what he has received. Serving others makes him happy!
