AFTER working with Sarah Geronimo in their first movie together, Piolo Pascual described the pop star as nothing short of the traditional “dalagang Pilipina.”

In a guesting on dzMM’s morning show “Sakto,” Piolo said his new leading lady was very different from the pop star on stage.

“She’s very giggly. Actually, she transforms onstage but when you see her in person [she’s] very quiet, she’s just in one place. Dalagang Pilipina kumbaga,” he said.

Piolo added that he had since been fond of calling Sarah a “jukebox” since the singer was fond of breaking into a tune anywhere.

“Sarah is like a jukebox. She suddenly just breaks into a song at any given time,” Piolo said.

Piolo stars with Sarah in “The Breakup Playlist” which premieres on June 30 and opens nationwide on July 1. Arianne F. Merez, Inquirer.net intern
